Dr. Andrea Dendrinos

Dr. Andrea Dendrinos opened Dendrinos Psychology in 2017 with the goal of providing evidence-based care. She has worked in a number of settings, including community mental health, college counseling centers, and private practice. Her doctoral research interests focused on couples, anxiety, and intimate partner violence. She has published several peer-reviewed articles and presents at national conferences.

In her practice, Dr. Dendrinos sees older adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She is particularly passionate about working with clients struggling with anxiety and OCD. She believes it is imperative that clients understand what any potential diagnoses mean and what research says is the most effective form of treatment. In addition to anxiety and OCD, Dr. Dendrinos also specializes in couples therapy, relationship-based issues, and major life transitions.

Dr. Dendrinos recently relocated from Minnesota to Texas and has moved her practice to fully virtual. As a member of PSYCPACT, she is able to see clients in a number of states. When not working, she is embracing the Texas weather with her husband and two children.
